Personal Mission: I want to go to Mexico City because after hearing Pastor Benny speak about the ministry down there and the injustice I felt called to go down and help. I’ve had a desire to serve with my small group in this way for some time and when I heard about what was going on down there I felt that it was an opportunity for us as a group to leave our environment and see what is out there. I wanted to challenge myself and take initiative to do something instead of waiting from something to just happen. I feel that God wanted me to take a step in faith instead of passive contemplation. My hope and prayer is that we as a team can not only serve our missionaries and the people in Mexico city but that we would grow from this experience and learn to trust in God and that He would open our eyes to what is out there.
